2030 NOW – the book

2030 NOW explores a world shaped by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Global artists, scientists, activists, celebrities, business leaders and politicians…It has become the focus of many global citizens to strive for a life of dignity. The UN Goals for 2030 serve as a road map towards a better future. The 2030 NOW book features the 17 SDGs while highlighting the individuals striving to turn them into a reality.

17 POSTERS FOR SCHOOLS

‘THE UN GLOBAL GOALS – LESSONS FOR ALL’ IS A SERIES OF POSTERS, EACH REPRESENTING ONE OF THE 17 SDG’S, ALL TOGETHER FORMING AN EXHIBITION SHIPPED TO 2.500 DANISH SCHOOLS IN WEEK 9, 2020, FREE OF CHARGE.
French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand has kindly donated the use of 17 chapter photos from the book 2030 NOW to this school project.

Each of the 17 SDGs is illustrated by a photo taken by the French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The world-famous photographer’s exhibition and book project Earth from Above has been seen by millions of people all over the world. Life Exhibitions has worked with him for many years.

Udstillingen er resultatet af en fotokonkurrence udskrevet af Danmarks Radio i samarbejde med 15. Juni Fonden, Aage V. Jensens Naturfond, Nordea-fonden, Naturstyrelsen, Statens Naturhistoriske Museum, Aarhus Naturhistoriske Museum.

Mange tak for et godt samarbejde til @geocentermoensklint! Og alle der gjorde det muligt at sende den fine udstilling rundt i Danmark. Det har været en fornøjelse!

I dag udgav Life Publishing VILD TID for Naturhistorisk Museum i Aarhus som har 100 års jubilæum!

VILD TID viser, hvordan Naturhistorisk Museum Aarhus i 100 år har bidraget med forskning, indsamling og formidling. Og hvordan det insisterer på at være relevant ved at markere sig i nogle af tidens svære debatter om vores natur og måske især vores relationer til den.

Bogen er skrevet af Susanne Sayers og designet af Christian Kirk-Jensen.

Vi takker for et fantastisk samarbejde med Museumsdirektør Bo Skaarup og hans dygtige kollegaer - og for at vi har måtte komme med bag kulissen på et af Danmarks mest spændende museer. 💚

Life Exhibitions and 2030 NOW have curated and produced the exhibition “Education for all” (“Verdensmål på plakaten”) – with Yann Arthus-Bertrands amazing photographs introducing each Sustainable Development Goal.

The exhibition will stay in Sønderborg, Denmark until October 24th – in cooperation with the Biblioteket Sønderborg (The Library Sønderborg).

"Verdensmål på plakaten" blev åbnet i går af Aalborgs borgmester Thomas Kastrup-Larsen, Clement Kjærsgaard, FN-forbundet, Musikkens Hus og Life Exhibitions egen Søren Rud på Musikkens Plads i Aalborg. 💚
Udstillingen bliver omdrejningspunkt for en lang række spændende events omkring bæredygtighed i perioden fra den 5/9 til 24/10.
