World Premiere of Horses in Copenhagen.
The first ever exhibition of Horses was opened in Copenhagen by HRH The Crown Princess Mary of Denmark on 28 September 2004. Also present were the Mayor of the Culture Department, Martin Geertsen, and the photographer himself, Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
The exhibition takes one of the world’s most beautiful animals, the horse, as a focal point to take visitors on a photographic journey to the world’s most distant cultures and civilisations.
The exhibiton’s 100 photographs were on display in a large tent on Nytorv next to Strøget in Copenhagen from 29 September to 29 December 2004.
