Die Erde von oben was opened in Vienna on 5 April 2004 by Wolfgang Waldner, Director of MuseumsQuartier, CEO/Canon Austria, and the photographer, Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
The exhibition was located in front of MuseumsQuartier in the heart of Vienna, surrounded by majestic, historical buildings.
It was due to close on 28 August but was so successful that its run was extended until 21 November.
